Anywhere AI User Manual
Welcome to Anywhere AI
Anywhere AI lets you reach, control and automate your devices from anywhere over a secure, encrypted connection. You register a device once and from then on you can open a remote desktop, browse and transfer files, run an intelligent terminal, monitor system health, harden security, schedule automations and let AI agents work on the device through an API — all without exposing the device to the open internet.
This manual is organised around the four main areas of the app, which match the items in the left-hand menu: Remote, Automation, Agentic and your Account. Each area has its own chapter below, and the larger flows (such as adding a device or starting a remote desktop) have dedicated step-by-step sub-pages.
What you can do with Anywhere AI
- Add and manage devices — register Raspberry Pi and single-board computers, desktops and servers, virtual machines, Docker containers, existing Mac/Windows machines or devices shared with you by another user.
- Remote Desktop — open the graphical desktop of a device through the browser or a dedicated VNC client.
- File Browser — browse, upload, download and edit files on the device, with optional S3 storage integration.
- Web-to-Local — securely forward a service running on the device (a web app, database, dashboard) to a port on your local machine.
- Intelligent Terminal — run an SSH terminal, or chat with an AI assistant that turns plain-language requests into commands on the device.
- System Monitor — view live CPU, memory, storage, network and running tasks for each device.
- Security — manage the device firewall and SSH encryption settings.
- Automation & Smart Automation — create automation projects and install the Smart Automation platform on a device to run scheduled, self-driving tasks.
- Agentic API — create API projects with their own keys and secrets so external agents can act on selected devices within the permissions you grant.
- Account & Licence — manage your subscription, integrations (Google API key, S3), usage, stored-data reports and account deletion.
Getting started in three steps
- Add your first device. Open Remote and follow the Add a device wizard for your device type.
- Connect. Open the device and choose a tool — start a Remote Desktop session, the File Browser or the Intelligent Terminal.
- Automate. When you are ready, set up an Automation project or an Agentic API project to let tasks run on their own.
